Ladies, and Gents: Here come "THE FUZZ", TZ-2. Guyatone refers to this Pedal as, "the 60's distortion flashback. The sound that started it all." Most people we know who lived through the 60's, aren't too clear on the details of exactly who started what, but the sound of this pedal was created with the old Univox "Super Fuzz" in mind. This tiny rascal packs a pretty decent grind, you'll know it's on without looking at the LED, unless you're having one of those flashbacks.
In that case, please don't operate heavy machinery during this surreal rapture! The two on-board controls are Volume, and Depth.hard to get lost here! We were pleasantly surprized by the variety of tones this little pedal put out. The "Tones" sample features both a tight, punchy rhythm, plus a contrasting, thick grunge sound. The "Melody" sample has some Hendrix type chord fragments, and some modern chord comping. And just when we thought the party might be over, we found an "Octave Up" setting too. Check it out! The TZ-2 runs on a power adaptor, or battery, has a LED indicator, and is rated at a respectable 6mA, (a rather low) power requirement. Enjoy
