The guyatone MC-3 Micro Chorus is a totally straight forward, easy to like Chorus pedal. It features two controls: Depth of effect, and Rate of the effect cycle created. This is an analog chorus, you'll appreciate that the effect isn't more present in the mix than the guitar's original sound. It fades just like your analog guitar tone. The Guyatone engineers have designed an effect that's well behaved too. This is not the kind of chorus that produces detuned wobbles, or vast, asymmetric, orbiting, harmonic overtones. The MC-3 ads a good sounding, melodic texture that emblishes, and adds musical effects to your sound. We're featuring two samples: Alt is for the alternative tuning used on the guitar for that sample, and the Chords is self explainatory. A Vox AC-30 preamp was a good match for this effect. That's how we recorded it, with the treble backed off some. Again, this pedal also runs on an adaptor, has an LED, and a silent electronic footswitch
