The FT-2 is a robust representative of the quacking group. It's different than a Wah pedal, in that the wave form can be adjusted to a variety of different frequency envelope shapes, and intensities. It can be quite subtle, or adjusted to emulate a Wah pedal as well. It's also a triggered effect; so once set, you work it with your pick attack. There's an additional mode switch which allows you to set the pedal for use with guitar, bass, or to plug in an outboard expression pedal. Funk is at the center of the Dynamic Filter's musical universe, but it would also come in handy for calling ducks.
